Halloween Happenings in Middle Tennessee

Halloween 2017 is just around the corner!

Pumpkin Patch at Gentry’s Farm

Location: 1974 Highway 96 West, Franklin

Date/Time: Saturday, October 28, 2017, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 29, 2017, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Scare Factor: Family friendly

Visiting Gentry’s Farm has become a tradition for many families in the Middle Tennessee area. For over two decades, they have opened their family farm to the public on fall weekends celebrate all the harvest season has to offer. Attractions include: 4-acre cornfield maze, nature trail, wooden tractor playground, grain trough barn, hands-on centers barn, tire swings, farm animals and a wagon ride through the historic farm.

Goblins in the Garden

Location: Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, 1200 Forrest Park Drive, Nashville

Date/Time: Tuesday, October 31, 2017, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Scare Factor: Family friendly; suitable for toddlers

During this spooky and special event, kids can explore the trick-or-treat trail in the Color Garden, enjoy themed art and science activities, and take a picture at the Pumpkin House photo booth.

4th Annual Halloween Masquerade at The Standard

Location: The Standard At Smith House, 167 Rosa L Parks Boulevard, Nashville

Date/Time: Saturday, October 28, 2017, 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (Sunday)

Scare Factor: 21+ event

The 4th Annual Halloween Masquerade at The Standard is a refined night with cultivated society. Dress to astound in your masquerade ensemble, costume or dapper apparel. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and gift bags (while they last), a costume contest, sounds from the renowned DJ Spice J, a dance floor and live entertainment by hoop and fire artist, AnnaLee Thundermoon.

Dead Land Haunted Woods

Location: 7040 Murfreesboro Road, Lebanon

Days/Times: Open 7 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays (through November 4th)

Scare Factor: Very scary! (not recommended for children under 9)

Dead Land Scream Park is a one-of-a-kind experience boasting four terrifying attractions, each featuring a walk along a dark, wooded trail – with many scares along the way. Concessions and a warm bonfire set the mood for Halloween fun.
