  • Introduce yourself. Your new employer may have already arranged for a meet-and-greet meeting as part of your onboarding process. If no meeting has been set up, simply email or instant message a few key coworkers to introduce yourself and share this information, prompting a conversation.

  • Contribute. Share your thoughts and ideas during meetings or email exchanges. This is one of the easiest ways to help your new team get to know you. It can be nerve-wracking at first, but it just takes practice. The more you allow yourself to speak up, the easier it will become!
