For the past two years, Wood Personnel Services has been raising money for local charities through a Blue Jean Day fundraiser. Each quarter, we select a different charity from a list that is of personal importance to our staff members. For every dollar donated by our staff, Wood Personnel matches the donation. This quarter’s charity is Bridges of Williamson County.
Bridges of Williamson County is the only domestic violence shelter in Williamson County. Their not-for-profit organization is dedicated to assisting victims of physical, mental and sexual abuse. Their role is to provide a safe place for those to make decisions and regain control of their life.
They provide a 24 hour crisis hotline staffed by people who can help immediately, an outreach support group, and shelter at an undisclosed/unnamed/unidentified location.
